Today
Jack Cooper and Ben Fry are best friends at their dull and dreary high school, Grangefield Grammar. On a seemingly ordinary Monday in Autumn Jack’s entire life is turned upside down when his friend is injured during their year 10 form class.
Chapter 24, of the novel. These few flashbacks, toward the end, are short, and based a lot around childhood, as there's a lot going on in his present, that reflects that.
Regret Twelve, Five Years Ago
This is the second draft of my entry for the Paper Lanterns competition.
A short story inspired by a story my Nannie (my grandmother) told me about how she used to work as an usherette and how it was a very glamorous job.
