Bob woke up in the middle of the night. He heard booming cannons. He rushed out, changing out of his pyjamas as he ran, to try to figure out what was happening.
Benny was a really strong, helpful poodle, but only a puppy, and he was already fighting the villain. He helped Bob a lot.
The villain was a massive green lizard, evil with red eyes, the size of a hotel. It was from Mars and it kept coming back. Each time he seemed stronger and stronger.
Bob went over to join him. “How are we going to defeat the strongest villain?” Bob said in an annoyed voice because he had to get up in the middle of the night!
Bob was feeling tired, too tired to fight. Benny knew Bob was exhausted. He gave him a big lick and said “Keep fighting, Bob”.
Bob was so tired that he fell asleep standing up. But he kept on fighting in his sleep! Benny licked him and said “Don’t go to sleep yet!”...
