A 100 Years Project workshop
It was a rainy day, and the world was in black and white. Mickey was rolling a cigar. He looked out the window and he saw a pigeon. Mickey had orange fingers from the fifty years he had worked in the Capital Cigars Factory in Cork.
Mickey dropped his tobacco, and shouted, “What was that?!”
Across the road, he had seen a pigeon paragliding off the Empire State Building. (The building originated in Cork and later moved to New York.)
The pigeon was blue and pink, like a peacock, and Mickey was taken off guard.
Because it was the first thing he had ever seen in colour…
