It was a cool morning on planet Zipzob. Jude was running as fast as he could to go to his school as he would be late. But then, he stopped and looked at the sky and saw a colony of flying hamsters!

A flying hamster was up there with all his friends. Jude was gazing at the colony. One of them suddenly flew at Jude’s head!

Jude decided to name him ‘Norman’ and to look after him until he was better. They became best friends. Jude forgot he had school. Jude noticed that part of the hamster’s wing was ripped. ‘Oh, gosh! Your wing is ripped,’ Jude said sadly.

‘It’s fine, don’t worry, I can still fly,’ said Norman overconfidently, ‘it got ripped when a dog bit it.’

‘Oh no, how did that happen?’ said Jude. Norman explained that he had been flying and had gotten tired, so a dog started chasing him and he was cornered. The dog had taken Norman to his house, and then escaped. Jude said, ‘When I’m finished with school, I will bring you back to my house and take care of you. Just stay here.’

Jude was running to school and a flying pig came down and bit through his leg! He screamed, ‘OWWWWWWWWWWWWW!’

Norman tried to limp to Jude, but he couldn’t move very much because he was still injured.

The pig swooped around for a second bite of Jude. The pig’s enormous shadow fell over Jude. Jude didn’t know if he was going to live or die but tried to hit the pig with his school bag. When Jude hit the pig with his school bag, the pig grabbed on to it with his teeth…
