Snook was no ordinary snake, he was a special snake. When Snook was a baby he started turning into a stick and his mum and dad left him. Snook wanted to be an ordinary snake like other snakes so he could play with his friends.
One day Snook and Detective Alex were talking in the woods. They were in the woods because two boys were bullying Snook and he was hiding.
“We need to go and find an antidote to turn me into a normal snake” said Snook. He was feeling happy and excited about finding an antidote.
“Look out! There’s a dog behind you!” said Alex. Snook panicked and turned into a stick. The dog grabbed Snook and ran off to his house.
Alex followed the dog to the house. “Here, doggy doggy!” shouted Alex. He picked up another stick and threw it the other way. Snook turned back into a snake and he and Alex returned to the woods.
The boys came into the woods, Snook and Alex heard them talking. The boys were talking about a special bottle that they had dug up and hidden in a tree. They followed the boys to find the tree, but when they got there the tree was full of bottles…
