Joe was eating breakfast. He was having waffles in his treehouse, because he was no ordinary monkey. He was a purple, flying monkey and he didn’t like bananas.
Afterwards, he climbed down to his bicycle. Joe had a long tail, which he tucked up when he was riding his bicycle. He was going to meet his friends to have fun. His friend, DeepShark, lived on the top of a hill. Every week, Joe went to swim in him - because DeepShark was a swimming pool!
Joe was testing the water with his tail when he felt something bite his tail. He saw a reddish shape in the water. It was a shark! Joe felt scared. He jumped! “Oh no, it’s a shark!” he squealed. “Oh my goodness, I come here every week and I’ve never seen a shark.”
"How did it get here?" he wondered. A bubble began to grow from inside the pool. It floated up and it burst. It was sticky sounding…
