When George was 16, he was training to become a clown, just like his dad. George wore a rainbow wig and a black nose instead of a red one. The black nose helped him remember the cat he had when he was very young.
George’s dad was a bit too pushy with his training for George to be funny. Eventually, George had had enough and decided to try to scare people instead.
George never took off his costume because he wanted to hide his identity. His costume could scare people because it was a ghost clown costume.
One day, George was talking to his friend, Ellie, a kind and friendly elephant.
Ellie said, ‘Why don’t you stop doing those scary jokes and try to be a bit like me. I’ll teach you how to juggle with seven balls.’
George replied, ‘I’ll give it a go, but if it doesn’t work out, I’m still going to be scary because it works for me!’
