Doctor Peanut and the Peanut Blaster

There I was, running from the pugs, holding my beloved peanut Shell in my arms. I stopped for a minute to try and catch my breath. I was in the park, being chased through tunnels and down slides, then all of a sudden, someone pulled me up to the top of the slide. I looked up and there was another squirrel! He had black fur and was wearing really big glasses. 

“Who are you?” I said.

“Mr. Almond, at your service. What’s your name sir?”

“I’m Doctor Peanut - but you should already have known that!”

“I seen you running around the park getting chased by the Pouncing Pugs. I’m only wanting to help. What happened to your Shell?”

When I was getting pulled up, one of the pugs had jumped up and grabbed Shell out of my hands.

Before the Pouncing Pugs returned to their base through their secret tunnel, they shouted “Scaredy Cat!” up at us two squirrels. Their base was five dog-houses glued together, and the walls in-between had been knocked down. They wanted Shell because they thought she used to be a dog, one of their team-mates, and had been turned into a peanut by me.

“Come on,” said Mr. Almond, “I know where their base is. Let’s go get your peanut back!”...
