Once upon a time there was a giraffe called Georgina who lived in a forest near Jamaica. Unlike other giraffes, Georgina had really short legs and neck.
One day Georgina found a very tall tree with lots of juicy fruit.
“Oh, how I wish I had long legs and a long neck to reach the juicy fruit!” she said. Just then, Henry the fluffy hedgehog came along.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Henry said.
“I’m trying to reach that apple up there,” said Georgina. She was exhausted trying to reach the top of the tree.
Suddenly, there was a rustling in the bushes. It was Jim! Jim was a fierce hunter who he was nearly the height of a giraffe. Georgina and Henry started to run as fast as they could.
An apple dropped from the tree. THWACK! The apple landed on Jim’s head and split open. Inside the apple was a wishing stone.
“Ouch!” said Jim. “I wish…”
