Ciaran was a boy who liked writing and drawing. His greatest wish was to become an illustrator. He liked to draw and write in his basement and had already published his first book. It was called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’
Ciaran had a best friend called Bella. She was a husky dog. She was a lovely, brown dog. He got Bella when he was eleven and she ran away 2 days later. She started to get hungry and thirsty, then she remembered where she lived and made her way home to Ciaran.
One day, Ciaran and Bella were out for a walk and Ciaran saw a shop with his book in it! He saw some people going up to the desk and buying it. The people were actually illustrators and they were looking for ideas for their own books.
Ciaran went into the shop and said, ‘Hello. That’s my book!’ He didn’t realise how many people liked his book.
‘This is a really good book. It’s better than the original version!’ one of them said.
Ciaran laid his eyes on an old arcade machine in the corner. It was dusty and he couldn’t read the writing on it. He walked over to it and it started to play by itself. Just then, the Beast came right out of his book…
