Summer workshops with Speech & Language Therapy Clinic

Fighting Words Belfast was delighted to welcome children with autism and their families from the Belfast Trust’s Speech & Language Therapy Clinic for a series of three creative writing workshops.

Participants, aged 8-10, worked with volunteer writing mentors to create three new stories which they then completed individually.
 
“It was great to see my son relaxed and happy in a new environment with his peers,” said one mum, Lisa.

New Patrons Announced

Fighting Words Belfast is excited to announce that Paul Muldoon and Lucy Caldwell will join the internationally acclaimed line-up of project patrons.
