We have launched Story Seeds, a cross-border project delivered in partnership with Fighting Words. Story Seeds is working with schools and community groups in Counties Down, Louth, Armagh, Monaghan, Derry~Londonderry and Donegal.

We’ve been busy with creating a fun and creative new environment for young people across NI to access their creative spark – but we need your help!

Fighting Words Northern Ireland is on the move to a new home in Connswater Shopping Centre. While we get our new space ready we’re mostly working remotely, so if you need to get hold of us, email is best (our phone line is currently unavailable). We’re hoping to be in our new space by the beginning of July, so until then:

We're bringing back our summer camp, after we had so much fun last year!
If you haven’t heard already – Fighting Words NI are running the Belfast Marathon!
Our relay team of staff and volunteers (and some help from the Annadale Striders) will be taking on the challenge on Sunday 30th April, all to raise money for Fighting Words NI.
Fighting Words have set up a new club for Irish speakers aged 13-18, or any young person interested in writing through Irish!
Club Cleite will run for 6 weeks from 20th April–25th May 2023, for teenagers aged 13-18. It’s a weekly one-hour session which will run from 5pm every Thursday, and then move to once a month over the summer holidays.
