Wolfee’s Trip to the Milky Way

Wolfee had always dreamt of going to space. Now the day had come. He was finally going into space. He had been waiting for years. When he got the courage to get in his rocket, he waved goodbye to his beloved home.

As he got in the rocket he noticed a rusty old bolt was loose. If he hadn’t seen that it would have been a disaster.

“Phew,” he said, as he fixed it.

Wolfee closed his eyes at the thought of it and shuddered. After he checked everything, the sirens blared ready for take off.

“This is it,” thought Wolfee. He blasted off, passing the atmosphere because it was dangerous not to.

Wolfee worried that he mightn’t make it. He put on his space suit, then looked out of his window and saw a bright comet pass through Andromeda.

“Wow!”

Then on his radar he detected Sagittarius B-TWO, a cloud that tastes of raspberries. He climbed out of the rocket and tasted the raspberry cloud.

Uh-oh- the low fuel light flashed, and the oxygen was running low too.

He said, “I better get back home”.

Then it hit him. It was all just a dream. He looked out his bedroom window and saw his rocket still sitting there. Or was it a dream too?
