Enola was a normal fifteen-year-old girl, apart from the fact that she was very bad. She hadn’t always been bad. It wasn't until she was fifteen that she turned this way.
Enola’s best friend was Josh and they both lived in and loved LA. Enola decided that, after reading a book called The Villains, she wanted to become a villain too.
One day her best friend Josh went missing.
Enola went looking for Josh in the place that they loved most. Living in LA, they loved playing around all of the moviemaking sets. This is where they had the best time, so she thought it was sure that Josh may have headed to there.
When she got to the movie sets, she heard a lot of noise. She thought they must've been filming some new blockbuster, so went to investigate. But instead she entered a huge warehouse where she saw Josh tied up in a chair and surrounded by bad guys.
Enola burst through the door and immediately shouted “Josh!”
She ran over to try and untie him and the bad guys just stood watching. Enola, being a villain herself, thought this was strange and paused.
“Why are you guys not trying to stop me? I'm in the middle of your crime.”
The bad guys answered her and said, “Enola, you are the best villain that we know and we wanted to try and impress you”.
Enola realised that all of her work reading The Villains books had turned her into not a very nice person. She realised that when somebody that she loved and cared about was taken by villains it made her so sad.
Enola said, “No, I don't want to be a villain anymore. If this is how I make people feel, then I need to stop and so do you guys!”
All of the bad guys agreed with her, because they thought if the greatest villain they knew wanted to give up crime, then they should do the same.
They quickly all worked together to untie Josh and tried to make him feel much better by showing him how kind they could be instead of being villains. Enola hugged Josh and promised never to let anything happen to him ever again!
