Once there was a pig called Percy who had lots of friends but it’s not so easy being on a farm, after all. On the farm, he found a very good friend named Bobby who knew Percy since he was born. Bobby was a llama who could fly very high. Percy lived in a pen next to Bobby on a farm in the mountains.

Percy and Bobby were naughty and liked to go next door to the cherry farm to tease the owners. When they got to the cherry farm, Percy and Bobby asked the farmer for food.

“Could we have some of those lovely, shiny, tiny red balls in the bucket?” squeaked Percy.

“We are all out of those,” the farmer said. “But... how come I can understand you talking to me?”

“We don’t usually talk in front of humans, but Bobby and I are so hungry! We wanted to ask for some food,” said Percy.

“Oh my goodness, am I imagining this? A talking pig and a talking llama?” exclaimed the farmer. “I could put you on a TV show so I can win some money!”

Percy shyly replied, “It has always been my greatest ambition to go on TV and win a contest, but Bobby doesn’t think it is a good idea…”
