I Have Awoken
I have awoken,
After all these years I am finally here,
I have awoken,
After all these years I am finally here,
I hate Sundays. Mum forces me to go to a mental health support group. She thinks I need talk to other people my age. I go to three counsellors, but I guess that isn’t enough for her.
I have been frozen for 125 years
Never waking up again was my biggest fear.
I can hear them.
Pervading my thoughts.
I can sense them.
They don’t wish to be caught.
Early one Sunday morning when the sun was rising, big, bright and orange in the sky, Jenny was camping.
I sat up abruptly, my heart beat increasing. I presumed that it was my parents coming back to get something they had left behind.
Frankenstein started it all,
The chilling situation that evolved.
Another great sound
Cracking
I am a Robot.
Not human, a Robot,
Noise…
Feet tapping.
