Just a brief summary for some context on Thomas, who you’ll be seeing more of very soon in the book’s timeline. I’ve excluded a few specific details from this version to save the surprises for when I reveal them later on!
Celia has been sent up to live in the country house her brother has bought. While the beautiful scenery may seem welcoming at first, Celia can't help but feel put off by the nearby churchyard, but she can't understand exactly why.
The extended/ending part of Chapter One.
Two old souls - trapped in two youthful bodies - meet on top of a cliff and silently comfort each other as they think about their intertwined, eternal lives.

This is a sort poem I wrote about my mental health last autumn. I tried to write in blank/free verse as I felt it captured the emotion better but I've never written in that style before so I'm looking forward to hearing feedback
