Chapter 1
Shay and Billy J went to a therapist who turned out to be funny. He wore glasses, polka dot socks and had three lines across his bald head.
“So tell me boys, I understand you aren’t from a friendly upbringing. Do you mind telling me the events leading up to what happened with Maddy?”
Madeline had gone looking her her father who went missing when she was a child. She could see ghosts.
“We didn’t think this would happen, okay?” said Shay
"Maddy could handle it," said Billy J. “Besides that ghost with the vacuum cleaner is mean.”
Grumpy Uncle Angus stormed through the door and pointed at them: “These boys, I tell you are very nasty boys. They got my niece lost in the woods.”
“Tell them what for!" said Robert Henderson. He was a ghost watching down on them whilst flying on a jetpack because his legs were sucked up by a vacuum cleaner. Uncle Angus could see him but the boys could only hear him.
“I’m getting to it,” groaned the Uncle Angus to the ghost.
Shay said to the therapist: “What you got, big son. Wanna fight?”
“Who's this guy?” questioned Billy J.
“Really? You are going to gloss over this?” asked Uncle Angus.
The Therapist asked passive aggressively: “What kind of things have you been doing?”
“I am only doing my job, sir,” the therapist said as a bug crawled across his eyebrow.
This therapist is a bit sus,” said Uncle Angus and he turned him into a pig.
The therapist forgot who he was and everything he had ever done…
