It was the Liverpool versus Man United cup final. Roger was the referee and at the beginning of the match he carried the ball onto the pitch.
When he lifted the ball, all the fans cheered with happiness. The ball started communicating!
‘Hi my name’s Bob!’ said the ball.
Rodger was shocked and then he fainted. He dropped the ball, the ball bounced against him and he woke up again.
‘Did you really talk?’ said Rodger anxiously. He was a bit frightened.
‘Yes, I did just talk to you’, said Bob, ‘you’re nice because you don’t kick me around on the pitch.’
The referee picked a new ball and threw Bob into the ball bag. There were seven other balls in the bag and that is when the problem started…
