Once there was a pencil called Penny. She was 3,000 years old, and was created in a science lab by an experiment gone wrong.
One afternoon she was bouncing along the street on her way to Ducky’s house. Her phone rang but it was an unknown caller. She answered the phone with her rubber end and heard a deep husky voice.
Since she couldn’t speak, she texted, “Hello?”
He texted back, “You have won free tickets to a free Kidsbop concert.”
She was jumping excitedly, so fast that she fell and rolled down the hill and landed at Ducky’s front door. Ducky was Spanish and a very clumsy rubber duck. Ducky and Penny had been to primary school together and their mummies were best friends.
Then Penny saw the rubbers in the street. They were her worst enemies because they RUBBED OUT all her work. They were being rude to people. Penny jumped out and tapped aggressively in her language, “Stop being rude to them!”…
