It was a Saturday morning and Gineen was tying her shoelaces at the track. Gineen was an inquisitive ten-year-old girl who loved running. She was about to do her four mile run when she spotted Edward.
Edward was behaving suspiciously. He was hiding something.
Gineen bolted over. She wondered why Edward was eating jellybeans and hiding them. She was curious about how an old man could be so fast.
“Why are you eating jellybeans?” asked Gineen.
“Because they’re nice,” said Edward.
Gineen squinted her eyes at him. “Can I have some?” said Gineen.
“No! You can’t have any,” said Edward in an angry voice.
He tried to run off but Gineen was able to keep up with him...
