Chapter One

Once upon a time there was a sad, circular head. He was trying to knock on the door of a house but it was kind of hard because he was only a head. The owner came out and looked around, but he couldn’t see anything. Then he looked down and he saw this head. The man looked like he wanted to ask a question in class – he was so confused.

“Where did your body go?” he asked the head. The head said he had been digging in a coal mine, and unfortunately he lost his body.

Chapter Two

When the man lost his body in the hole, he saw a very bouncy ball. The ball bounced the head out of the hole. When the head got out of the hole he saw a tiny bug. Behind the bug there was a wee boy hitting a really soft ball with a bat.

Behind the boy was an alien. The alien saw the head and said, “Would you like a hand up?”

The head didn’t know how to do work anymore, so the alien brought him into his lair and taught him how to work, using his mouth to write.

Chapter Three

After a while, the head saw another man who was counting his money. The man looked at him and said, “What are you doing here?”

The small head said, “I’m learning to use my head to do maths and lots of other stuff.”

The man started laughing and locked him in a cage. The only thing to keep him company was a torch. It was a talking torch. The talking torch used matches to burn things. The torch didn’t really know how to speak properly, or have a brain. He thought the head was paper so he cut him in half.

The end.
