The Mistaken Child

Juan was sitting alone in a play pit in Pizza Plaza. He picked up one of the multi-coloured balls and threw it at an old woman eating pizza.
The old woman got up and came over. “Oi, you! What are you doing?” asked the old woman.
“I’m just playing by myself,” replied Juan.
“Where is your family?” the old woman asked.
“I don’t know,” said Juan, standing up.
“Well, I’m Patricia. If you need any help come get me.” Patricia walked back to the coffee table, wondering what Juan was going to get up to next.
She sat down next to her daughter, Alexa, and her grandchild, Bart.
“Who is that?” asked Alexa, as Bart spilled coffee over Alexa’s phone that was sitting on the table. Alexa was annoyed. She picked Bart up and took him to the ball pit.
The two boys played for half an hour. At 1 o’clock, Alexa came over and picked up Juan, mistaking him for Bart.
“Adios, mi madre,” Alexa said to her mum and walked out the door. She got into her black Lexus and drove home.
Alexa got out of the car and went into the house with Juan.
“Go up to your room while I make dinner,” she said.
Twenty-five minutes later, Alexa called Juan down to come down for dinner. “Bart! Dinner’s ready!”
Juan slid down the stairs in a sleeping bag. He had cut his hair and clothes were covered in makeup.  
“Quien es?”asked Alexa.
“Me llamo Juan,” said Juan.
Alexa couldn’t believe it. She took Juan, got back in the car and speedily drove back to the restaurant. It was closed…
