Once upon a time, it was the middle of the night, and Lily was trying to get to sleep.
She thought to herself, “Those noisy birds are so annoying!” She tried to go back to sleep again.
The next morning when she woke up, she found out that she was becoming Queen!
In a squeaky voice, her friend the Chair said, “You are going to be the Queen for this month!”
Lily didn’t expect this, and asked the chair, “How did you know this?”
“Because it’s your birthday tomorrow, and you have to be Queen on your birthday!”
Lily jumped up and got out of bed. She flew down to get her breakfast of magical porridge. She was tired of flying so she walked slowly back up the spiral staircase, taking care of her wings in the tight space, to change into her new dress.
When she got back to her room, she lifted her gate key, and opened the gate. Behind the gate she found a magic ring, and when she threw it, it opened a portal to the Queen’s Hotel.
When she got to the hotel, there was a dragon waiting there for her. The dragon was coming for her because they found out Lily was becoming the Queen of the Butterfly Kingdom.
The dragon had red eyes, and it was tiny, the size of a small window. Its skin was black and lumpy.
The dragon jumped on Lily and tried to eat her!
Lily tried to get the dragon off, but there was no hope. The dragon had stuck to her with his lumpy scales…
