A Lanky Stick and a Magic Spatula

Maclean was looking for his magic burger spatula in his basement because he had to go to his job at McDonalds in a couple of hours. Instead he found a gauntlet. Then he found the burger spatula.

However, the burger spatula wasn’t normal either. On it he found a string of letters which was actually a password for entering an enormous gauntlet. His grandfather had told him that the spatula unveiled a cave.

Maclean was scared and anxious but he was more intrigued and he had promised his grandfather that he would find the cave, so he tapped the letters on the spatula.

He saw a movement in the corner. He walked over to see what it was. It was David’s lanky figure, lying in front of the cave. David was a talking stick who loved himself, with leaves for hair, and twigs for arms. He was taking a selfie of his glass-wearing, baggy clothes-wearing, very confident, lanky self.

‘S’up?’ said Maclean.

‘Not much, bro-ski. How’s you?’ replied David.

David had just ended a bad relationship. He’d made his way into Maclean’s basement and been chilling there for a couple of months. They’d met together on the curling team. After a few years they’d become very connected to each other as best friends.

Maclean asked David, ‘Is that your bedroom?’ as he pointed to the cave.

David said, ‘What do you mean?’ He turned around and suddenly saw the cave. David said, ‘Are we going to go in?’

‘Why not?’ said Maclean.

Both of them entered the cave and the doors locked behind them…
