Once upon a time, there was an ape named Leo. He wished to climb the biggest tree in the world to get the ripest bananas.
Behind him there was a great rainbow in the sky from which a flamingo with rainbow eyes flew. The flamingo was called Rainbow.
Rainbow crash landed into Leo’s cage.
“Who are you and what are you doing in my house?”
asked Leo.
“I’m sorry I fell into your cage, I thought it was abandoned!” said Rainbow. She tried to fly away but fell and hurt her wing.
“Are you alright? Would you like to come in and rest your wing?” said Leo. “I’m sorry I have nothing to offer – I’m scared of snakes and they’re guarding the bananas of the highest tree.”
“After my wing is better I’ll fly up there and get them!” said Rainbow. Leo got Rainbow a cushion and a blanket and a warm fire.
The next week, Rainbow’s wing was healed. After her lunch, they made their way to the trunk of the tallest tree. When they got there, they saw snakes were hanging down from the branches menacingly…
