There once was a bear called Eric, he lived in a cave on a big mountain and one day he met a fox called Roxy out on a walk. Roxy was looking for food when Eric accidentally bumped into her.
Eric said, “I got lost and I'm so glad I found you,” and Roxy replied, “Would you like me to help you find your way?”
Eric replied, “Yes please!” He told Roxy that he wished he was able to fly.
“If I got lost, I could fly up and see where I was meant to go,” said Eric.
Eric and Roxy were quite unusual animals, so Roxy said, “Let’s go get some sticks and leaves to make wings.”
The two friends went to the forest and they started rummaging around on the ground because it was autumn time. Roxy was a great builder so she knew what to do.
Eric and Roxy tested their wings and flew up to see there were humans going into his cave!
“Oh no!” gasped Eric, “they’re in my cave!”
Roxy whispered, “Who?”
Eric replied, “There are about ten hunters outside and they might eat my food!”
