Don’t-Know’s Birthday Surprise

“My name is…Don’t-Know. That’s my name because I don’t remember anything.”

He was in his house and writing in his diary so that he remembers what he’s written about. He puts his diary away and goes down the stairs to see his auntie. It was during the school holidays and he didn’t have to go to school.

“Hello Auntie!” he said, “what do I call you again?”

“Auntie Margaret,” or you can call me your favourite Auntie Margaret.”

Don’t know looked confused. “I don’t know why I came in here.”

“Did you come down for breakfast,”

“I don’t know, have I had breakfast yet?”

“No,” said Auntie Margaret.

It was his birthday. There was a birthday cake on the table. It was chocolatey and massive!

Then there was a knock on the door. Auntie Margaret answered it and there stood Anna with a big box.

When Don’t-know saw Anna he said “Who are you and why are you here?” Anna walked in through the doorway and she thought Don’t-know was only joking.

She gave his present and his name was on the present...
