It was dark, and it was a stormy night. They were gone! Chuckle Chicken’s family had disappeared from the world. He went out to find his family but got struck by lightening instead. He gained a superpower when he got struck. He never felt the same again. He raised his wing and electricity shot out. Chuckles went back to bed that night in his coup and thought it was
just a dream.
The next morning when he woke up he noticed his wings had turned glowing, electric blue. Just then, he looked out the window and saw that the alien apocalypse had just got worse. It was the aliens that stole his family.
Chirpy, his chicken friend, came from around the corner of the coup and said, ‘I saw the space aliens take your family. I’ll go to space with you to find them.’
They went outside and there was a spaceship out there. The spaceship belonged to the butcher. The sign on it read ‘Billy’s Butchers.’
The two chickens shouted, ‘Oh no, Billy’s going to turn us into chicken nuggets!’
Chirpy had heard Billy say ‘I’m looking for the tastiest chickens on Earth.’ Chuckles and Chirpy decided to go to their scientist friend to get help.
The scientist is called Cha-Cha. He’s a carrot who makes spaceships and potions.
‘We saw a spaceship in very bad condition,’ they said to the scientist. ‘Can you help us?’
Cha-cha’s assistant, Fred the Fox, came in to tell him that he has a meeting at four. The chickens started to feel nervous because they know that foxes eat chickens. They started shaking and clucking. But luckily, Fred isn’t clever enough to know that. He eats beef instead. Cha-cha saw they were afraid of Fred the Fox.
Cha-cha said, ‘Don’t be scared of Fred. He just wants to help. Go home and have your dinner and afterward I will come and help you build your spaceship.’
Chuckles and Chirpy tried to leave, but when they’re outside the aliens came after them. Chuckles shocked them with electricity from his wing and they fell down. After Chuckles shocked them, he started to feel very tired. He felt the power and energy draining from his body.
Chirpy did a giant chirp for help. CHIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPP!!
