It was Bill and Bella’s first year in year 5 at school. Bill and Bella go off to the lake after school to swim every day for fun. This lake slowly but surely turns down into a stream.
Bill swished his way and went a bit too far away from Bella. He ended up in the stream. After two minutes, the stream turned into a massive gushing river. Bill yelled for help, “Somebody help!” Bill was feeling scared.
Bella didn’t realise that Bill was gone. Bella started looking for Bill. She felt sad, worried and upset. Bella phoned the firemen and she yelled “Help! My friend has fallen into the river!”
She could hear the bees buzzing. The bees were trying to help. Suddenly a lifeguard showed up in a helicopter and the firemen arrived in their truck.
The firemen knew there was a dangerous river. They said “let's jump in and pull him out!”
