Gemstone said, “It’s time I get a new friend, it’s kind of boring here.”
Gemstone felt like his mum is pressuring him into being friends with Gerard the Giraffe who was just a baby. Gerard the Giraffe always threw a tantrum when he didn't get what he wants.
All of a sudden there was a loud and unexpected earthquake. A huge black hole appeared and it sucked Gemstone in. Gemstone was vacuumed into the past and spat out into a scorching, isolated desert.
He tried to fly out but the heat from the desert had depleted his energy. In the distance, he saw a familiar giraffe…
