One Tuesday night, Potato was in a field playing Catch with his best friend Billie the Pig. Potato threw the potato to Billie, but it got stuck in a tree. The tree opened and the potato rolled inside.
“You go get it, I’m too small,” Potato said to Billie.
“Fine,” said Billie, going to get the potato. On the way, she fell into a hole. She fell for five minutes, before reaching the bottom of the hole. It was full of mosquitoes!
Potato was feeling very sad. He started to cry. He decided to call someone for help.
I’ll call the fire brigade, Potato thought. He went to the phone box five minutes from the fire brigade station.
There was a lot of traffic and the fire brigade was too slow. Potato decided to jump down the hole. He landed in a big puddle of water.
“Oh, ‘ello!” said Billie.
“Oh, ‘ello!” said Potato.
“Look!” shouted Billie, “It’s the potato that got stuck in the tree!”
The potato started wiggling…
