Peter Wilson, a 14 year old Larne Grammar student, encouraged by Fighting Words Belfast writing mentors to share his writing.
Peter Wilson, a 14 year old Larne Grammar student, came to Write Club at The Duncairn for the first time last week (9 Aug 17). During the session, Peter wrote Living on the Edge, a story set in North Korea. Fighting Words Belfast writing mentors were impressed by Peter's talent, and encouraged him to continue writing.
This week, Peter returned with news that he has set up a blog, Relevant Politics, which looks at political news on a local and global level.
"I've had an interest in politics for the past few years and it's my ambition to become a political journalist when I'm older. After I came to Write Club last week, I was inspired to set up my new blog."
Peter intends to publish an article on his blog once a week and to use Write Club as an opportunity to continue with his creative writing.
