The Shocking Event

It was a cold and foggy night. It was in New Zealand in 1922. Tabitha and her family were driving home from a sandcastle building competition at the beach where she met Jack the footballer. Jack had dared her to slap her brother during a game of Truth or Dare. Her brother was teasing her about liking Jack and Tabitha’s mum and dad were shouting at her while she slapped her brother in the face. The car crashed because the exhaust went out and they were on the highway. Her dad didn’t realise they were going round a corner. They went off a cliff.

The crash gave her the superpower to see ghosts. She finally woke from her coma to find out that she was in an orphanage. The next day, she got adopted from the orphanage. When they got home, the mum shouted at her because she was looking around the house and looked under the stairs.

Then at night, she creeps down, looks in the cupboard and finds a dead body! Something emerged out of the skeleton. It looked like a ghost and it said, “hello” in an Australian accent.

“G'day mate…”
