Fighting Words Northern Ireland is on the move to a new home in Connswater Shopping Centre. While we get our new space ready we’re mostly working remotely, so if you need to get hold of us, email is best (our phone line is currently unavailable). We’re hoping to be in our new space by the beginning of July, so until then:
- Write Club in-person sessions are on pause and online sessions will continue as normal.
- Our workshops have been moved online or in-person at the school where possible. We still need the support of our brilliant volunteers at workshops and our Volunteer Coordinator will keep in touch by email about volunteering opportunities.
- If you are due to meet any of the Fighting Words NI team for any other reason, they will confirm a location with you directly.
Anyone who’s moved before knows how much work it can be and we’re absolutely thrilled to have been awarded support for the move and fit out of our new office and workshop space from The Clothworkers Foundation and the RTE Toy Show Appeal managed by Community Foundation Northern Ireland. Without this support from our funders, we could not reach the thousands of children and young people who can most benefit from our creative writing workshops and programmes.
