Fighting Words Belfast was delighted to welcome children with autism and their families from the Belfast Trust’s Speech & Language Therapy Clinic for a series of three creative writing workshops.
Participants, aged 8-10, worked with volunteer writing mentors to create three new stories which they then completed individually.
“It was great to see my son relaxed and happy in a new environment with his peers,” said one mum, Lisa.
