Fighting Words patron Roddy Doyle arrives in Belfast to introduce his new book illustrated by Chris Judge, ‘Rover and the Big Fat Baby’ to local children.
On Wednesday 12th October at 11am Fighting Words Belfast and partner Eason’s are excited to host a special event in Belfast with internationally acclaimed author Roddy Doyle.
Fighting Words Belfast Development Officer Geraldine Wilkins commented;
‘Young readers and writers are buzzing in anticipation of quizzing the Fighting Words Belfast patron Roddy Doyle about his latest story!’
At the event children from local schools will gather at Fighting Words Belfast’s creative writing centre at Skainos in East Belfast to meet Roddy and hear the author read extracts from his new children’s novel, followed by a Q&A session.
