Fighting Words Belfast ran six story-making and illustrating workshops at CBBC’s Awesome Authors event, in collaboration with Jam Media.
As part of the BBC Awesome Authors weekend, Fighting Words Belfast and Jam Media ran six story-making workshops for children and adults.
The workshops took place over two days (Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July) at Finaghy Library.
Each workshop began with a sneak-peak at brand new CBBC programme, Little Roy. Participants came up with the rest of the story themselves, which was illustrated by Jam Media animators and Fighting Words illustrators. Participants then had time to create their own illustrations to go with the story, and took home their very own Fighting Words Belfast storybook.
Ten volunteers travelled from Fighting Words in Dublin to be part of this event, along with five people from Jam Media.
