We asked you talented 7-12 year olds to become Young Storykeepers and you certainly delivered!
A joint initiative with Great Lighthouses of Ireland, by the time submissions closed on May 19th we’d received almost 1,300 superb lighthouse-inspired tales.
From swashbuckling stories to stop-motion animation, poems, illustrations and even a song or two, your efforts have been incredible.
Digital Showcase
Due to the fantastic response, your stories will be released as a series of volumes over the summer.
The first volume of stories will be released as a digital magazine to mark Cruinniú na nÓg on June 13th.
In the meantime, Fighting Words will be in touch with all you Storykeepers soon, stay tuned for more lighthouse creativity here and on our social channels!
