The Way to Success

My name is Derek, I like eating carrots and playing golf. One day I’m a rabbit, the next day I’m something else. Will I be successful? Maybe. Does my dream come true? This is where it began. Come on my journey to find out. 

I feel like I’ve failed in life and I hope I can change it around. I want to make my great-grandfather proud and do what he does best: play golf.

I remember what my great-grandfather said in a serious voice, his last sentence before he died. 

“Make me proud.” Those words will forever be printed in my memory. 

I had a dream my great-grandfather was talking. He told me how to hit further and what kind of clubs to use. He faded away as I woke up, because he was dead, and then the dream ended. 

I am here, I’m in my bed. How did I get here? 

I got myself up out of bed, I was a bit wrecked and not wide awake. I looked in the mirror and felt a presence behind me and a hand on my back. I felt shivers down my spine and that wasn’t the first time…
