Dan the Lonely Astronaut

Dan the lonely astronaut was floating up in the sky. He was desperate to get home to see his family.  Suddenly, he met a space dog called Money.

“Hello, how are you doing?” said Dan.

“I believe you are longing to get back home.  I can help you,” said Money. “I know your best friend Zachary.  He is my second cousin.”

“If you help me, I will give you dog treats when I get back home,” said Dan.

Dan and Money went spinning very fast to the Milky Way. When they got there, the giant eagle-monkey was waiting for them.  Bob, who was half alien, half human, flew by in his mini-space ship. His mood was half angry and half happy.

“Jump on the top of my spaceship,” Bob said to Dan and Money.

They hopped onto the mini spaceship and Bob did an angry loop the loop.

“My name is Money! Will you please tickle my tummy?” rapped Money, clinging on to the spaceship.

They heard a squawk.  The giant eagle-monkey was chasing them through the vast darkness of space…
